I have to ask the question - how dim do you have to be to fall for it?
Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.

Hi there,
Well, young Lady I was quiet astonished when reading your journal because the usual way is that somebody here on DA publish there new web site and than publish a journal to let there watchers know !!!
In your case you ask for any ideas maybe even some constructive help etc. ‘Brilliant’.

Only last week there was a young Lady like you from ‘Estonia’ which published her web site as a ‘Full blown Flash Application’, and I must say that was one of the best I ever saw in the last 11 years I’m involved with the www.
But unfortunately it had the one cardinal mistake people do again and again (regarding to an Internal study by MS it is that 97.4% of sites do not have showing a sufficient SEO) building there site mainly around visual appearances.

Anyway, I’m myself German born (but living mostly now in New Zealand) Microsoft Engineer etc. & ADOBE Flash / FLEX 3 Web Application Software Developer which is always looking behind the scenes rather than just the UI part of a web site.
So my personal advise would be ‘NOT’ to loose yourself in just the UI (User Interface), but do while creating your site all what is necessary to write a good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) code and the most IMPORTANT item in it all is ‘DO NOT PUBLISH EVER ANYTHING BEFORE YOU DO HAVE THIS SEO SET UP ! OR EVEN WITHOUT IT’.
If you or your friend need some advise/help to do the SEO please let me know? I would be only too happy to help you along to get it of the ground and noticed in the right way and areas.

As a fellow DA I would do this all of course for ‘FREE’.

Un joli layout déjà! Quelque chose de sobre et qui te corresponde, qu'on sente qu'on est "chez toi", c'est chouette. Si tu peux, faire une version française et une version anglaise pour que tous tes visiteurs s'y retrouvent, avec des cms comme joomla c'est facile de faire un site propre et clair sachant gérer des options de ce genre.

Et ce qui est toujours bien aussi, c'est de lier le portfolio à un blog, en tout cas j'aime bien quand les photographes le font, ça permet d'avoir un oeil sur tout le taff effectué d'une part, et d'autre part d'être prévenus quand des nouveautés ont été réalisées, avec le commentaire de l'auteur, la démarche, parfois le making off ou ce genre de petites choses sympas qui attisent la curiosité :)

Une petite page de présentation aussi, ça va de soi, j'aime bien lire la bio de l'auteur, ses influences, ce qui l'a mené à la photo, ses démarches, ce genre de choses.

J'ai hâte de voir ça en tout cas, bon courage pour mettre ton site en place!

Merci pour tous ces conseils ! J'avoue que le site entamé est plus que sobre, et tu m'as donné quelques idées pour l'étoffer :) pour le blog j'hésite encore, j'entretiens déjà pas mal de plateformes, et ça serait une de plus... à voir. Merci encore !

(Trois siècles après) Pour le blog, à voir... Mais les gens ne prennent pas toujours la peine d'aller voir les différentes plateformes, tous n'y sont pas habitués, c'est une façon facile d'avoir un suivi de ton travail en parallèle à ton portfolio ou de retrouver facilement certaines choses (par exemple la vidéo making-off que tu avais faites), mais ce n'est pas obligatoire!

Bref, bonne conception en tout cas :)
